Had to sell due to being in University.
Her barn name is Kalika.
She's a very sweet girl, and so smart. She has her dad's gorgeous quarter horse shaped head, and her mom's size, athletic build, and smooth gaits. The dam has great cow sense! Her full brother(4yrs) has been started in reining and does spins, sliding stops, and flying lead changes easily.
She halters very well and has great ground manners. She's been sacked out with as many objects we could think of and is very curious. She does okay with bathing, and readily steps into creeks and rivers.
She has an excellent pedigree, Lucky Straw and Call Me a Rebel on papers!
Kalika has been started under the saddle, the first time on her fall 2009, she wasn't even phased and was even curious enough to be led around while I was on her back.
We've done a little bit of trotting as well, and has a great long stride and was well balanced even though it was her first time.
I expect great things from this little mare and hope to see her go far, wherever she may go.
