Bay tobiano. "Star" is an extremely talented filly. Would have easily been an awesome snaffle bit prospect but we don't like to start them that young. She had four months pro training at The Wright Ranch in Jackson this spring and summer, including a lot of trail riding and time on cows, and she is a very talented youngster. She was bought as a weanling from me by my working student and she has proven to be a horse of too much talent for what she needs. She was born and raised here so we know all about her! Raised outside in the herd, vaccinated, dewormed and barefoot, and not backed until her 3 year old year. She can turn around! She is extremely catty and athletic. And she very is cowy. She is an open caliber prospect and is not a kids' or beginner's horse. No badness there, just a lot of talent, a huge engine, and a busy mind. She loves to work. It's a bad time to sell but we think her price reflects the economical conditions right now. She is a talented little girl. Along with her pro training she's been ridden a lot by her young owner including trails, crossing water, and she's been to ranch sorting, extreme ranch trials, and to a gymkhana. I should also point out that she has shown tremendous talent for jumping. She has not done much given her young age but she has done cavaletti and small cross rails a lot, 1'6" foot jumps some, and her owner did a 3'6" to see how she did, once, and she was awesome. Tons of talent for collected work - would make an awesome eventing prospect. Check website for video! Working with her trainer and free jumping at home and bareback with her owner. She is truly an all around mare and would be a great prospect for going for your all aound APHA championship. Shows enormous talent for reining, cutting, working cowhorse, jumping, dressage, cross country.
