Scout is a real nice horse- 9 year old, and he did stick at just a hair over 16 hands. Not one vice, no marks/blemishes on him, healthy, completely sound. Gentle and seems to have a great mind. Has absolutely no trouble with a kid crawling (litterally) all over him.
He does have a walk, running walk, fox trot, regular trot and really smooth rocking horse canter. Does neck rein to some extent, although rode two handed most of the time. He takes every trail obsticle I throw at him in stride- water, trees, tall grass, county road, deer, phesants, cars/trucks, other horses, donkeys- etc... He self loads/unloads. Once out of the trailer, waits at the back of the trailer until you come get him. Stands tied to the trailer with a hay bag forever. Tacks up without even flicking an ear, drops head for halter and bridle- fly spray is welcomed... etc.
Super Trail horse and family pet. Only selling due to height. Primary rider is in his 60's and has decided he can't take a step stool with him everywhere he goes!
